As we head into May with the possibility of reopening the country, our hearts are hopeful. We don’t know for sure though, and that’s okay. One thing we do know for sure in any age, in any country, in and society, is that we can trust God. As a child trusts his parents even in the most difficult times, we can trust God even through these times. We don’t say this lightly or flippantly, but in seriousness and sobriety. Knowing we are not in control of these circumstances causes us to be fully dependent on the One who is. Knowing we are finite beings that are loved by an infinite God is comforting, and brings us joy that words cannot express. So trust God and be faithful. Trust Him through the work disruptions. Trust Him through schooling. Trust Him through isolation. Trust Him through sickness. Trust Him through this all.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
May God bestow His abundant grace in your lives this month!
In His service,
Pastor Chris
